Archimages has been commissioned to provide master planning and design services for the new municipal complex including a new City Hall, Fire Station and Police Station for the City of Berkeley. The City Hall and Fire facility will be built adjacent to Jackson Park and share a common boulevard entry while maintaining separate parking facilities. Individual buildings will have distinct architectural features contained within a common design theme and color palette. The Police Station will be a combination renovation and expansion of the City's existing station. Additional office, training and processing elements will be provided along with a new sally port garage. These new buildings will establish a new design fabric for the City and create a sense of pride for this rebuilding community.
