Clayton City Hall and Fire House

Clayton, Missouri

2-story facility combining renovation with new construction.

40,000 S.F.

The City of Clayton commissioned Archimages to complete a multi-phased project that included the demolition of the eastern half of the existing structure to make way for the construction of a new state-of-the-art 17,500 S.F. fire station. The station includes five bays, two being drive-thru, and living quarters with individual bunk and restrooms. Also included are Fire Department Administration Offices, a workout area and a training tower. At the completion of the fire station, the fire staff was moved into the new facility allowing Phase II to begin. This involved the renovation of the existing station, converting it into City Hall offices. The final phase included the building of a multi-level parking structure for both Fire Station and City Hall staff and visitor use.
