The 1893 structurally failing sanctuary was replaced with a new one that was seismically reinforced. The new church was lowered to the first floor from the second and a well defined entrance was created. New sound system and new lighting were installed and the existing offices were expanded. New stained glass windows were put in. All furnishings are moveable, including the multi-plex organ console. The new addition was carefully designed to blend with the existing architecture of the campus. Similar materials and color palettes were used while still creating a new image for the congregation.
