Metro West Fire Protection District wanted to replace two of their existing stations (Station #1 & #2) with state of the art facilities and add one new station (#5) at a totally new site. Each station included multiple apparatus bays and living quarters consisting of bunk areas, kitchen, dining, workout room and offices. Stations #1 and #2 were constructed adjacent to existing facilities which allowed the existing stations to remain active during construction. At the completion of the new facilities, the existing structures were razed.
